It’s the little things

I took a sick day from work and went to a graduation for some of my kiddos from back when I was student teaching.

It did my heart an awful lot of good. I’m going to cherish these memories forever.

I am so damn proud of my kids.

I'm a special educator and advocate, an optimist who just doesn't know how to quit. I work with children with severe disabilities, and I absolutely adore my job. I believe in Spread the Word to End the Word, and that nonverbal does NOT mean unable to communicate. I love talking to others in special education or anyone with a question or query. Ask me a question! Even if you think it's rude! I'm honest, sometimes even blunt, and I'd like to help if you're trying to find something out.
